App Federicus - Medieval Festival takes place in Altamura | April 23rd-25th 2016
By bringing back it's medieval past the town of Altamura honours "Frederick II".
The entire historical centre is decorated, recreating the medieval atmosphere with parades, games, street shows, military encampments and recreation of medieval construction sites. The actors will demonstrate their courage, mastery and will bring back to life the lively medieval market "stalls". There will be coreographed flag waving, musicians, street artists and dames with their knights.
During "Saint Mark's Palio" the neighbourhoods demonstrate their abilities. The main theme of this event is "Superstition"!
