DSL Hilfe - the comfort app for your router
With the DSL Hilfe app you can set up your router in simple steps and optimize your WLAN reach. In addition, the DSL Hilfe supports and fix existing network and router errors.

Set up connection:
Do you have a new fixed network connection from Telekom or a new router? The DSL Hilfe app leads you in just a few steps through the wiring, entering the access data and the configuration. The app is also its perfect assistant when switching your connection to Internet telephony (VoIP).
Do you see a QR code in the cover letter? Then you can scan this with your smartphone or tablet and the app recognizes your individual access data and the annoying manual entering! Important to know that the app needs the authorization to take pictures.
In the app you will be asked if your connection is already activated. If this is not yet the case, you can create a calendar entry via the DSL Hilfe app.
For this, the app needs the authorization for calendar entries.
Fix errors:
Do you have a problem with your internet, WLAN, telephone or entertain? The automatic network analysis supports you interactively with troubleshooting and offers solutions directly - regardless of whether you have problems with the PC, tablet, smartphone or telephone.
If the DSL Hilfe app cannot help, you will be forwarded directly to the right customer advisor, with which you can make calls in our hotline or explain the problem available in a text chat. An intelligent link to the Magentaserive app gives you the current waiting time. You decide whether you call us or we call you back.

The WLAN area offers you various options for managing and optimizing your WLAN signal. For example, transfer WLAN data (name and key) via QR code or NFC to guests or new devices. For this, the app needs the authorization to take pictures when receiving the darts.
A performant WLAN connection depends on various factors. With the DSL Hilfe app, learn how you can get the best out of your WLAN network. With different functions, the DSL Hilfe offers you the opportunity to optimize the speed, range and stability of your WLAN network and avoid disorders.
To do this, carry out a measurement of the internet speed (speed test) or a WLAN range measurement (HEATMAP) and use the guide with different tips and tricks to improve your WLAN network.
